Responsible for all phases of design and production of signage, marketing and print material for the Costco Sign Center in Auburn. Skills include design, typography, image manipulations and visualizations while maintaining stringent Costco design standards. Other skills include making comps and prototypes for presentations, color correction, spot and four-color printing, operation of RIP station and maintenance on Mac/Windows based computers using, Adobe Illustrator, Quark, Photoshop, Imageready, Acrobat, Flexi-sign and a variety of Microsoft office applications. Operation and maintenance of VUTEK wide format ultra violet printer, Mutoh Inkjet, Epson Laser Printer and operating vinyl cut machines. Working closely with CSR and other team members as well as the management, corporate, and sign center staff to facilitate and streamline design and production in a constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Complete cycle of design included design and development of targeted advertising for local and national advertisers. Other daily tasks included pagination of classifieds advertising using Quark and IE/Netscape updating the online content. Responsibilities also included working closely with advertising agents and other designers and training of the new design hires. Maintained and controlled schedules of stream of advertising design on a tight daily deadline. Worked closely with the publisher, production staff and national advertisers to create unique and effective design solutions.
