Non-profit volunteer work

I was approached by the International Iranian Cooperation; a nonprofit group aiming to better the relations of Iran with the United States creating mutual understanding of political factors and economical understanding and relations. I worked closely with the Executive Director of Stockholm Chapter to develop a logo for better identification of Iranian owned business to demonstrate Iranian and Iranian-American heritage cooperating in economics of the United States.

Process

After in-depth study of the nature of this organization, my purposed approach was to include the colors of Iranian national flag in a show of solidarity, to be posted at their web sites. The conclusion is developing a theme which in abstract terms relates to Iranian pride and cooperation in businesses owned by Iranian. The circle in the middle is global representation of this effort and the rise of two abstract hands are an indication of pride.

   

Based on the recommendation of IIC I was requested to consider designing a log for Persian Watch Center (PWC), This nonprofit center is a watch center aiming to find and publicize the anti-discrimination of the parties against Iranian-American interest around the world.

Process

I worked closely with the Director of this center to implement the visions of this center and its collective in a form of logo. After careful study of the mission and goals of this center I purposed a logo created by combination of arrows surrounding a symbol of stop representing putting an stop to discrimination. My submission was well received.

PRN - Pharmacy Relief Northwest

Pharmacy Relief Northwest is a successful business providing relief pharmacist for pharmacies throughout Washington State.

Process

After careful evaluation of the goals and vision of the president of this company I designed the logo below representing an abstract form of mortar and pestle used as a grinding tool to mix medicine for centuries. Another take on this logo is the meaning behind PRN which in medical terminology translates as "take as needed" focusing on medicine and medication.

   

 

Slicker Video Productions

This business is a startup to offer unique video solutions to cater the needs of corporate clients in recording lecturers, gatherings and seminars. The owner approached me with specific picture as representation of his company which was a cartoon image of a wondering gypsy.

Process

I worked closely with the president of SVP to convince him that another approach might be a better solution to reach his target market. After our indepth discussion we agreed to create an abstract eye/aperture in the center, forming the letter S.

 

 

Axon Group, Chemical Engineering
Newport Beach, CA
Axon wanted a logo which demonstrated their consulting part of the company. They wanted to project their expertise and personal touch to be shown in abstract language.

Americore Engineering Solutions

Americore is a consulting engineering company in Orange County California. This was a fast turnaround logo which I directly worked with the president of the company needing a formal solid logo for his company.

Simple Solutions software

Simple Solutions asked for logo that would tie in with their multi-layered structure and as a software company while focusing on strong simple solutions for their clients.
I developed this logo with simple geometric forms connecting to each form with another using abstract lines of communication.
